Since the foam thicknesses of the two variants differ, the seat and backrest cushions must always be combined from the same version to ensure optimal lying comfort for the patient. IMPORTANT! The installation of the "Comfort" seat upholstery for the KaVo Primus 1058, ESTETICA E50, and ESTETICA E30 dental unit models is not easy and is only recommended for those who have already carried out this installation before!
Orders with a delivery address abroad: Unfortunately, we do not offer assembly service abroad. Please inquire with your responsible depot or technician whether the necessary knowledge for the assembly of the dental upholstery is available.

Step 4: To completely release the upholstery frame, the two guide webs (4) must be unhooked. Lift the upholstery for this purpose and pull it out carefully and evenly towards the foot end to avoid jamming.
ATTENTION! The subsequent reassembly of this work step requires patience and experience. Since the openings of the guide webs and the corresponding counterparts are not visible when positioning, the first attempts often fail. Therefore, please note our reference to the professional installation service.
Step 5: Loosen the six fixing screws (6) on the underside that connect the upholstery to the metal frame.
Step 7: The installation of the new upholstery then takes place in reverse order.
ALTERNATIVE: Since the millimeter-precise hooking of the frame into the guide webs (Step 4) is demanding without visual guidance, there is an alternative procedure to avoid having to separate the frame from the chair in the first place.
- Loosen the front and middle four screws between the upholstery and the frame directly (from Step 5).
- The two rear (upper) screws are more difficult to access when assembled, as only a narrow gap is available. With patience and the right tool (e.g., a flat ratchet with a Phillips socket), however, these screws can be unscrewed directly on the chair.
- For the subsequent screwing of the new upholstery in this narrow gap, a little instinct is required – however, the disassembly of the complete frame is completely eliminated.
