IMPORTANT! The installation of the seat upholstery for KaVo dental unit models Estetica 1065 and Estetica 1066 is demanding and is only recommended for those who have already carried out this installation before!
Orders with a delivery address abroad: Unfortunately, we do not offer assembly service abroad. Please inquire with your responsible depot or technician whether the necessary knowledge for the assembly of the dental upholstery is available.

Step 1: Loosen the screw of the retaining bar at the foot end above the tubular frame and remove the retaining bar. The retaining bar will be reused for the subsequent installation. There are upholstery versions with a pipe clamp behind the retaining bar and without a pipe clamp at this position (see image).
Step 2: Lift the seat upholstery from the foot end upwards to release all pipe clamps.
ATTENTION! The subsequent reinstallation of this work step requires patience and experience. It usually takes several attempts during installation until both wings of the metal panel are positioned and secured exactly under the fixing screws again.
The installation of the new upholstery is carried out in reverse order.
Step 4: First, place the seat upholstery slightly too far forward. The wings of the metal panel must be positioned in front of the fixing screws. Look into the space between the back of the upholstery and the upholstery mount to find the correct positioning. Afterwards, press down on the seat upholstery on the left and right in the area of the wings of the metal panel and slide the upholstery back while maintaining continuous pressure. If it does not succeed on the first attempt, repeat the process. Sometimes it takes several attempts until this step is successful.
Step 5: Press all pipe clamps firmly back into place, screw the retaining bar back onto the foot end and finally check the correct fit of the seat upholstery.
