Assignment / Compatibility
- Direct use: The headrest upholstery plate is suitable for all KaVo dental units already equipped with a magnetic headrest plate.
Advantage: Unlike the original plain grey headrest plate, the DKL replacement headrest plate is available in all selectable KaVo colors. - Matching accessories: DKL also offers the matching DKL Soft head cushion made of high-quality memory foam (art. no. 902KU).
- Converting Somatic 4 headrest upholsteries: The headrest upholstery plate combined with the DKL Soft head cushion is ideal for converting KaVo units with a Somatic 4 headrest upholstery (art. no. 421020). The Somatic 4 headrest upholsteries are fixed to the unit’s headrest mount via four rear plastic sockets. After removing the Somatic 4 upholstery, simply mount the color-matched magnetic headrest plate – the new DKL Soft head cushion can then be conveniently fixed to it magnetically.

Attention! The right of return is excluded for custom-made upholstery ordered in the wrong color. - Complete Replacement: If you are replacing the upholstery of an entire dental unit or dental chair, you are flexible in your color choice. You can choose any manufacturer's color or even from our entire current color collection to ensure the new color of your upholstery harmonizes with the color ambiance of your practice rooms.
- Partial Replacement: If only a single piece of upholstery on your dental unit or dental chair is being replaced, an exact color match is crucial. If you know the exact manufacturer's color name, you can order your upholstery directly from the shop. If the color name is unclear, please be sure to request free samples for color matching.

- Disassembly: Carefully lift the headrest upholstery plate (or the Somatic 4 headrest upholstery in case of conversion) on one side, release the ball pin from the socket, and then lift the remaining three ball pins out of the sockets.
- Assembly: For installation, align the headrest upholstery plate over the matching mounting studs and carefully press into place.
